The Dragon Stratagem: Soul Blaster Synopsis:
The dragons, from a western continent on an ancient magical planet, are bent on destroying humanity, whom their ancestors had created by a powerful magical spell, by tricking the humans into bringing back to life a primordial creature that created all life in the world. The old King of the Humans is destroyed by the dragons from the west when he goes to raid their continent and bring back their coveted dragon eggs.
The old King's son, the new King, repels the resulting invasion from the western dragons and uncharacteristically, in order to ensure peace and re-establish the dragon egg trade, stages the kidnapping of his daughter by the dragons. The Princess is held in captivity by the dragons, and is trained to cast very powerful magic spells by being taken to remote and dangerous corners of the world and forced to fend for herself with the spells she is given by the dragons. The King sends an immortal boy to join the Princess on her quest, to ensure her survival, and eventually they are separated, but later she is finally rescued by her father's forces. The King wages epic campaigns of war against the western dragons and their allies, and ultimately must cast a suicidal explosion of his own soul to delay the return of the primeval creature that spawned all living things on the planet.
